Next language to learn

As we look to the future, what skills should we be developing.
As most of you know, 4D’s next major product is called Wakanda. It will be pretty revolutionary if it can deliver on all its promises. We don’t have a copy yet, but we have been told that its language will be based on JavaScript. So, I’ve spent the past few months learning about JavaScript. An interesting opinion piece I read recently was called Waking Up with JavaScript from our friends over at SD Times. The basic premise is everyone needs to learn JavaScript but it is best to start out with a good framework like jQuery so you don’t use the ‘Bad Parts’ of JavaScript. Makes good sense to me. Anyone care to comment on what they think of JavaScript and which frameworks they find handy?
